Hi, i had pending adjustment to perm. resident status when i filed two i-131s for advance parole, for myself and family member. uscis approved my i-485 the same day it received i-131s. i wonder if i can ask them to stop processing i-131 and refund processing fee. (over $600, quite a lot of money for me). the checks already cashed. do you know if uscis has a dedicated form for this, or if i can ask in writing. i called 800 number but the person on the phone did not have a clue. thanks. I got this loan from the internet and it called gfs loans it's a cashday advanced loan and it was for 200 dollars but they charged me 80 dollars to get that 200 dollars.sounds like a podunk place to me.well they're not from here they are like over seas or something like that.their number starts with 044 something.but i didn't fax or sign nothing it was all over the phone and i just gave them my checking acct and they deduct it from there.i'm not going to pay it back cuz i think it was a rip off anyway and the num they gave me to call back was some bogus num at first and i wanted to cancel it but the rep gave me a bogus number what would you do? what could happen to me if i don't pay it back will i go to jail for it? i think not but i need some help with this.. You have given me some useful advise. more details. i used my boyfriend's credit card over about a two week periiod, i had his pin number and used it at the same atm for cash advances, and at a couple stores and online. i know there are video cameras at atms and stores, therefore knowing i would be on camera. my boyfriend knew i had and was using his card and also we had a verbal agreement that i would pay the monthly bill. we got into a fight and things fell apart, and the very next day he filed charges against me that i stole his credit card and used it without permission. there is nothing in writing and no proof of anything besides he was my boyfriend, i used his card, and he is trying to get back at me. this is a federal offence and i don't know what will happen. any advise would be much appreciated..
